Skilled Landscape Labourers
We are seeking Full-Time Landscape Installation Labourers. Applicants should take pride in their work, be able to work well independently and as a team and work in an efficient manner. This is a seasonal position with the possibility of snow removal work.
Job Duties:
- Various landscape installation duties
- Safely operate heavy machinery – skid steer, backhoe and mini excavator
- Operate hand tools and smaller powered equipment
- Excavating and grading
- Install trees, shrubs, and sod
Qualifications:
- Physically fit with the ability to perform vigorous and repetitive tasks
- Experience in hardscaping is an asset
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
- A valid driver’s license is an asset but not mandatory
- Strong work ethic
Work Conditions:
- Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 6:00 pm, some Saturdays, weather dependant
- April – November
- Outdoors – candidate should be prepared to work in all weather conditions
General Labourers
We are seeking Full-Time Grounds Maintenance Labourers. Applicants should take pride in their work, be able to work well independently and as a team and work in an efficient manner. This is a seasonal position with the possibility of snow removal work.
Job Duties:
- Perform grounds maintenance duties
- Trim shrubs and pull weeds
Apply fertilizer - Safely operate grass cutting equipment – 21” Push mower, 48” Walk behind mower & 60”
- Ride-on mower
- Safely operate power tools such as backpack blower, line trimmer & hedge trimmer
Qualifications:
- Physically fit with the ability to perform vigorous and repetitive tasks
- Experience in softscaping is an asset
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
- A valid driver’s license is an asset but not mandatory
- Strong work ethic
Work Conditions:
- Monday – Friday 7:00am – 6:00pm, some Saturdays, weather dependant
